Happy Friday Y'all! Time to join Mrs4444 for some Friday Fragmenting Fun!
***Well I am seriously late posting my fragments for this week. Friday is nearly over! Sigh, story of my life sometimes, right?
***It has been a busy but fun week and that shall continue through the weekend! I am torn. I love having lots of engagements on the calendar, but I also love to have some down time.
***We hosted a party last Saturday night, it was so fun! About 30 people converged on our house for hamburgers, hotdogs, brats, and such. We fired up our "fire pit" and made s'mores for the kiddos and had a great time. I love the warm weather, it was so nice. I even wore a strapless dress for the occasion! It was so cool and comfortable. I did add a wrap when the sun went down.
***TT had a big Cub Scout Pack meet this week. He was so excited, he received some awards and then go to participate in our Pack's first "Rocket Derby". He sanded and painted his own rocket, so as anyone that knows my TT would expect, it was Star Wars themed. He did not win, but had a great time building and racing.
***Princess informed me on the way home from the grocery store that she wants me to go to work and Daddy to stay home. Hmmm, that could be interesting.
***I just started reading a book I stumbled across on our bookshelf. Funny how we have books on the shelf. I've never seen. This one looked interesting, "The Death of Common Sense, How Law is Suffocating America". I guess it could end up to be dry and dusty, but so far it is rather interesting.
Well, it is a short stack of fragments, but there are steaks on the grill and I am hungry! Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

i am glad you enjoyed your runway experience, i could never have done that!! i don't see why you didn't take it, lilly is for the sophisticated, right?? not the college crowd. i think they messed up!!
i think you could strap on some boots and have a ball at the workplace for a bit. i bet hubby could use some down time too ;-) but meals... how would the meals go...
How fun! Glad you went for it; I'm sure you were inspiring, and I love the dress!
Can't imagine wearing a strapless anything right now--We still have plenty of snow!
I truly think you should have won the modeling contest. After all, Lilly can't do better than a gorgeous wife and mother whose family serves our country. You are proof that you don't have to be a college girl to strut your stuff and look wonderful doing it! (And I agree with you on that dress. I haven't tried it on, but I love it and wish I could think of a reason why I "need" it!)
congratulations on second place. i'm sure you deserved first, though!
i would say keep your eye on the dress- - i feel like some of the trendier styles go on sale a lot more quickly! maybe call your local store and ask them to give you a call when it goes on markdown?? i know my local store will do that for me!
Oh what fun! Love the runway dress!
