Yeah, about that...

My last post was about a new site I had come across called Joss and Main. I was pretty excited to have been invited to join. It looked really promising. Honestly, the prices I saw on Creative Candles and MurMur designs were 50% or more off regular retail. I was very excited to see Preppy Plates was coming up yesterday, and even more so to see that Lilly Pulitzer by Lifeguard Press would be coming up next Monday.

Well color me disappointed, at least for now. Preppy Plates is on sale, but still, $60 for a set of 4 melamine plates?? Thank you , but no thank you. I can buy a full place setting of my Mikasa French Countryside casual china for that. I can buy a full 20 piece set of melamine dinnerware for that. Yes, they are adorable, but let's face it, I am cheap, and Preppy Plates are not.

Now, that being said, there are some good sales going on. Nordic Ware is currently running! I think for me, right now, the jury is still out on Joss and Main. I'll let you know. Of course, you are welcome to go check them out for yourself, use this link to get membership.

Another disappointment though, is the Lilly Pulitzer sale. Now it may turn out differently, but it looks like the Lilly items that will be offered will be full retail price. We really probably won't know until April 18 when the sale launches.
